How to Weave a Heart

Welcome to the craft of flet — the joyful art of weaving. Each heart is a small, handmade piece of hygge to treasure year-round.

Your kit contains everything you need to create your own woven heart:

• Pre-cut heart pieces

• Small stickers/tape to attach the hanging loop

That’s all you need to begin your weaving journey.

Let’s Weave. Step-by-step:

Each heart begins with two folded shapes — one of each color. As you weave, the strips pass through one another in a gentle rhythm: in, around, in. Then, with the next strip, the pattern reverses. Slowly, a heart takes form.

• Fold each piece along the center line to create two half-hearts.

• Weave the strips together — in, around, in.

• Reverse the pattern with the next strip — around, in, around.

• Continue the rhythm until your heart appears.

• Add the hanger with the small stickers/tape included in your kit.

Your woven heart is ready to hang, to gift, to keep.
